Chester Nursing Home is situated in a quiet residential area in Whitehead, a small seaside village on the east coast of County Antrim. The home provides dementia nursing care in a homely environment and can accommodate up to 33 residents.

At Chester we always strive to provide a homely and family-oriented approach to the care and support provided within the home. We believe in promoting an inclusive approach to social activities, where Residents can either go out or join in within the Home’s activities.
Nursing and Care staff are available to support and care for residents 24hrs per day and always do so by taking a person centred approach. Meeting Residents needs are always the number one priority.

The Registered Manager for Chester Care Home is Frank Mudie.
Frank has been working in the care sector since 1995 gaining experience in the NHS and the Independent Sector. He qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 2003 from the University of Southampton. He has worked as Deputy Manager of a Dementia Assessment Ward in Wales before moving to Northern Ireland to work in the Independent Sector
