Ballymaconnell Nursing Home is a small home consisting of 19 beds. It is situated just a 10-minute walk from Ballyholme beach in Bangor and is located on the regular town bus service route. It has a very homely environment and sits within its own private driveway and gardens.

The Registered Manager for Ballymaconnell Nursing Home is Fiona McAufield.
Fiona qualified as a Registered General Nurse 1991. She has gained extensive experience as a Registered Manager in Older People and Dementia Care. Her qualifications include a Diploma in Management and Dementia training. In addition, Fiona is a volunteer for Ards Peninsula First responders. Her knowledge and clinical skills are a great asset to Ballymaconnell Care Home.
